and its Racing Rivals

Excelsior Manxman

This new softback book, with 152 pages containing 230+ photos, covers Excelsior's early years 1902-1921, with illustrations from the Carson family album, followed by great racing photographs of the rival firms and riders from 1922-1939: New Imperial, Cotton, OK Supreme, Rudge etc, including a special section of manufacturers from the North West of England - Dot, Matador, Toreador, Chris Tattersall Specials and Syd Gleave Specials.

There follows a New Imperial chapter with lots of rare photographs, not to forget more superb Excelsior shots, and then a section covering one of my favourite bikes, the pre-War Benelli.

Finally, we have, from Norman Webb's collection, a wonderful selection of photographs from the post-War Continental circus and a few unusual paddock shots.

This new book is now available on the button below. This is a unique chance to see Excelsior and its major competitors all in one book .
